The discovery of a unique place.
In June 2012, Pierre-André Krueger had no idea he was embarking on his last South American expedition after more than 150 scouting trips across the continent.
At the confluence of the Loretoyacu River and the Amazon River, Krueger first visited the Tarapoto Lakes Nature Reserve, which is located within an indigenous reserve of approximately 200,000 hectares.
Upon arrival, the adventurous entrepreneur was captivated by the region's beauty and serenity. He discovered a place where humankind and nature have coexisted in perfect harmony for generations, a true revelation that deeply inspired him.
This instant connection led him to consider returning to the area to assess the feasibility of a hotel project that combines environmental conservation, the promotion of local culture, and an exclusive experience.
This is how the Nomad lodges adventure began.
